Villa. For the first week. This one was in Davenport which
is on US 27. Brand new homes, I was uncertain about its location, but if
anything it was a much better place than in Kissimmee. Lots of local amenities
including a Denny's.
Ritz Motel. Nice and clean and on the beach front at Clearwater. But dont
expect to get much sleep, it seems that Clearwater Beach never sleeps.
Best Western, Clearwater Central. The best hotel in the world, for me anyway.
Located on US 19 we have been back every year since. Hot Spa, great pool and security
patrolled. 15 min from beach. Shops near by include Target, Best Buy and the
Dollar Tree. Great Buffet Buddy Freddy also close by. A Scouser lady works there
as well.
Travelodge, Maingate East. Big hotel directly across from Kissimmee
Old Town. Lots of onsite amenities and close to good eateries, including Ponderosa.

This one started of a bit of a disaster. My wife forgot to repack my
driving licence after using it for something else. It cost a small fortune
to have it shipped to London and then over by FedEx as well as costing us
two days enjoyment. It did get better though and the villa certainly helped. |
