Throughout this period the airline had been a pioneer of modern aircraft types (First Airline outside North America to get the 767), fresh passenger service initiatives and new holiday destinations. Passengers, however, remember Britannia best for its friendly and professional staff. Britannia is now part of the TUI Group of companies which also includes Thomson Holidays, one of the UK’s largest tour operator.
