| The Walt Disney World Resort opened on 1st October 1971, with the Magic Kingdom and three hotels just a couple of miles southwest of Orlando.
The property is the size of Coventry UK, with only about a quarter of it having been developed (Used) to date. Walt Disney World Resort has become the most popular tourist destination in the world, with four theme parks, two water parks, a shopping and entertainment centre, 20 hotels and eight world class golf courses.
