Madeira Beach has come to be our preffered choice to stay now. This area is not really a place for tourist's who like the hussle and bussle of St Pete's and Cleawater. Thats not to say there is nothing there for them, far from it. Johns Pass is Pinellas County’s number 1 tourist attraction. Many shops are in the Village with a variety of restaurants, fishing, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.

The boardwalk at Johns Pass is amazing and the view of the harbour and brand new bridge is something that remains strong in our memories.

I have never thought of myself as a sun worshipper but watching the sunset at Madeira Beach is a religious experience and people come from all over Pinella's County just to see it.

It has become some what traditional for us to take a steady walk down the beach to Johns Pass just so we can walk back and observe the sunset....AMAZING.

Combined with the sedate whishing of the surf and Cranes and other little birds scurrying along the beach, well this is my Heaven.

The beach is amazing and not crowded except for the holidays "Memorial Day" etc. and if you are lucky enough to have a condo on the beach, well it's the closest you will feel to heaven. Here are just some of the Condo's you could rent Click Here

The Candy Kitchen located on Gulf Boulevard is like having your own Willy Wonka on your doorstep, mmmmmmmmm just thinking about their Vanilla Ice Cream with Praline is making my mouth water already.
