A permanent international and discovery showplace covering 260 acres. Center
of the 15-month Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration. Epcot is like a world's
fair and science center combined.
The centerpiece of the park is the 40-acre World Showcase Lagoon which lights up on
a nightime with an orchestra of lights and fireworks. The big silver geosphere --
Spaceship Earth -- is a hand's on science exhibit focussing on the future. The other
half of Epcot is the World Showcase, where you can tour eleven national pavilions,
just like visitors to a world's fair. | |
